"Ferrit at Kraftbomb this Sunday""

Ferrit had been busy making lots of new things for this weekends Kraftbomb, from new daisy brooches and hairclips to oversized bows and cross charms

She was also going to be having a wee bit of a summer sale to make way for new summer things and Christmas treats. All of Ferrit's "golden goodness" brooches and "candy striped" wares were going to be $5 off the normal price, making brooches $10 and necklaces $15.

Also because of the sad circumstances of the past week Ferrit would be donating 10% of her sales to the Pike River Miners Trust Fund

December 19th 2010 Christmas Kraftbomb - Applications OPEN

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the December Christmas Kraftbomb!

Kraftbomb will be held on Sunday 19th December 2010, rather than the last Sunday of December to fit in before Christmas! Come along and join our amazing vendors, sip some of Fred's fantastic lemonade, eat some cupcakes and soak up the crafty goodness.

APPLICATIONS OPEN
Applications close Sunday 5th December

Applications will close on Sunday 5th December 2010 and we will be in touch a few days after this date. Please don't worry if you haven't heard from us straight away. It sometimes takes us a few days to go through applications and we always email both successful and unsuccessful applicants.

To be fair to those that do apply during this time, we cannot accept any applications after this date and hope you all understand.

Due to increasing numbers of applications and the popularity of the Christmas Kraftbomb we may not be able to give you the table size you apply for and some full table requests may be offered a half table spot.

We receive so many applications for Kraftbomb and do our best to give everyone a chance to sell and to fit as many people in as possible. Please, please do not be offended or take it personally if you don't get a spot. We simply cannot fit everyone in each time and we find it extremely hard to go through the applications and pick out the successful applicants. We sometimes stand people down for a month to let a new vendor have a spot and we try to be as fair as possible.

We do read through every application, visit each blog and view your photos. If you don't have a blog or Flickr, then please email us through your photos. We've had a few people apply with amazing sounding projects who never sent through photos and didn't get a spot.

We also do our best to pick vendors who are making products that fit into Kraftbomb's quirky style of crafts and will compliment existing vendors products. If you're not sure if your crafts would fit, come along to a Kraftbomb and have a look around and get a feel for the atmosphere. You can pop by and say hello and introduce yourself to Karla (Geek Freeks) or City (NZ Cupcake Queen) too!

We look forward to all your applications and seeing everyone at the next Kraftbomb.

Keep it krafty!

Small Faces

Today at Kraftbomb I met...

A delicious custard square from Geek Freeks: I like his indifferent expression! The detail is amazing: the blanket stitching to make the crinkled cookie-cutter edges, the icing sitting on top of the pastry, and the squidgy sides are so realistic! I'd eat him but I'm still full from my all-cupcake breakfast. I also met cute Frida (from the previous post), with her lovely 'bung eye', and last but not least, Angry Cat, a present from Heleen of Ruby in the Dust. The face! So cute... so angry. I love him.

Make Believe's stall.

Some new teacups and my best attempt at a Frida will be on my stall this weekend at Kraftbomb- plus a new set of map magnets, all the best places are back! and lots more. Hope y'all can make it!

Isn't her bung eye cute? :P

This Sunday past.

It was a wonderful second birthday for Kraftbomb on Sunday- I thoroughly enjoyed my time at my stall as always but did miss the presence of Fred. I took a few pictures I thought I'd share with y'all.

A film crew came to interview the wonderful 2 who make this happen each week.

I'd really love Trixie Delicious' Sex Palace lamp!

My new Mexico inspired pompom bags.

And my wee stall. Looking rather empty this month!

And my one purchase of the day was this amazingly sweet cup, complete with house and garden underneath by Sarah Hunter. It's a gift but I want to keep it for myself!

See you next month!
